This
guide has been prepared to introduce you to the daily hospital routine, the
roles of some of the people you will meet, and the many services available.
We believe the most effective patient care begins when you establish
partnerships with your Medical Center physician, your primary nurse and other
members of your health care team.
We encourage you to be informed about your treatment and to participate in your
care. Our staff welcomes your questions and will explain any aspect of your care
that you do not understand.
Telephone
numbers are highlighted in the guide to help you contact the member of our staff
who can best assist you.
We realize this can be a stressful time for you and your family and promise that
we will strive to make your stay here as comfortable and positive as possible.
Also be assured that we are committed to providing you with the highest quality
patient care. On behalf of all hospital employees and staff, welcome to the
Cairo Kidney Center.
